December to January

We took our Christmas tree down this afternoon. Typically we leave it up longer, but Jim is flying back to Houston tomorrow morning and I did not want the responsibility of dismantling & cleaning up all of the holiday decor later this week by myself. Jim is a workhorse when it comes to tidying, so it only made sense to me to get the job done while he was available.

You would think with the end of the Christmas season and the dawn of the new year that our partying would slow down a bit, but we will jump right back on the celebratory bandwagon this Saturday to observe Irma's 87th birthday. 2011 - start it up!

Here are some of the bags that we packed at the food pantry back in mid-December.

The December birthday boys.

Muffin watched his ball roll down the lane during our recent bowling extravaganza.

Adam concentrated on his air hockey game at the New Year's Eve party.

Young New Year's Eve revelers. And Jason.

As always thanks for the blogs, especially when I miss things like the NY bash.
